Lara graduated from the Philippines in 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She has been working as a nurse for 13 years. She began as an LPN, Charge Nurse, and Case Manager, then moved into MDS. Lara came from a family that worked in healthcare, including nursing, PT, and physicians. Nursing is a broad profession that can lead you into various areas of healthcare. She loves that it is people-focused and also requires empathy, critical thinking, and hard work. She loves to travel in her free time, learning about different cultures and cuisines. She also enjoys reading books.
